    • Description We are a seasonal drive-inn restaurant famous for our home-made french fries cut fresh daily and prepared for you using 100% canola oil, served the old fashioned way in a brown bag. We also serve Wpg Old Country euro hot dogs,chicken burgers and various wraps made with real chicken breasts, ceaser salads, vegetarian and vegan choices as well as a kids menu. We also offer GLUTEN FREE foodchoices. Just want a snack, try our chicken fingers, mozza sticks, battered mushrooms or onion rings. Tired of the same old thing...try our breaded dill pickle spears. We also serve some of the best perogies around. You can enjoy our great food outside at our picnic tables in front of our 36 foot air brushed mural of some of the famous oldies(see Murals of Winnipeg website) while listening to the oldies on the whistle pigs own music channel, 87.5 ED fm or if you prefer you can take it home. Excellent service, food and portions for a great value. Join us Mondays for our Senior Day. All seniors receive 10% a discount on their orders. Serving Transcona and all Manitoba for over 40 years!!

    Went their for lunch with a friend, great chicken burgers, and cheese dog with the works. Than went to Dairy Queen for a Root Beer milk shake.
